Wouldn’t it be nice if you could get golf course photography from someone who isn’t just a photographer, but who just happened to have played professional golf? Mark understands because he played professionally and knows golf course design & construction and truly loves his work? And, he still maintains a scratch handicap.

Golf course photography takes a special eye and perspective. Delivering images that deliver the true feel you have when you’re playing, along with IMPACT, is not just a snap and go process. It takes site visits and becoming familiar with the property, sometimes as large as over 400 to 1,000 acres!

Scouting for golf course photography shoot takes hours or days. If at all possible, the opportunity to play the course beforehand with the golf course designer, PGA golf professional, or Director of Golf can be invaluable toward the approach. My goal is to not only see how the course plays, but find out the story behind the design, the properties typical guest, and how best to represent that through my images.

As a golf course designer, architect, contractor or owner, high-quality photos of your work are critical in showing your abilities or facility. If the quality of these photos are sub-par (excuse the pun) those who visit your site may relate this quality to your ability to design or remodel a golf course. Unfortunate but true. We are in the “instant gratification” world, and if they don’t immediately see what they want, they move on. THAT ACTION alone could be costing you tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars each year.
