I couldn’t resist shooting this poor kid sitting with his grandmother. He kept looking around and I can’t imagine how bored he really was, but it was evident when I caught this. All I could think of was how the generation gap just exists, I mean, you get to an age when you’re not sure what to say. (Like the band The Who said, “My Generation”)
I was only about 10′ from him when I took this, but the trick is I was shooting this through a new little lens trick I picked up (and obviously haven’t quite got the focusing right yet). This lens add-on is a 90 degree angle that lets you shoot 90 degrees to the side from which way you are looking. He was to my left!
He thought I was photographing something in the street so he wasn’t paying too much attention to me. I’m gonna love this little gadget called Super Secret Spy Lens. Really cool and worth every nickel. I’ll be using this alot to get candid shots and dropping them here in the future so you can check back.
